Q: How much do your services cost?
A: All of our prices are linked on the price list page here.
Q: How long do your new build helmets take to get once I have ordered?
A: We are estimating an approximate 2-3 month wait for your helmet to be built at this point.
Q: Can you paint my new build flat black?
A: We no longer offer flat black or any custom paint work.
Q: Can I drop by the shop with my helmet?
A: No, you must make an appointment to bring your helmet to the shop for work. We give all appointments 1.5 hours and can complete your work while you are here. To make an appoitment you can book here.
Q: How long do you have my helmet if I ship it to you for work?
A: Once we have recieved your helmet we try our best to keep our turn around time of 3-4 business days.
Q: Do I need to pay for return shipping?
A: Yes, return shipping is added onto your bill. You pay what we do plus $15 for insurance of the package.
Q: Is my helmet insured when you ship it back?
A: Yes. We now add insurance on to any helmet that is shipped out of the shop. The cost is $15 and is automatically billed to you. If your helmet is lost for any reason we will provide you a monetary refund for the value of your helmet, as deemed by us, up to $1,200.
Q: Will the liners you sell on your website store fit my helmet?
A: If your helmet is a 2019 or newer G5, N5 or N6 it will.
Q: Can I buy your short earflaps as a loose item? I don’t want to ship my helmet in.
A: No, our Rekindled Lids liners must be installed by us.
Q: Can you paint my existing helmet?
A: No, we stopped offering paint services in 2017.
Q: Can I send my helmet to you for leather or wire repair work?
A: No, we no longer offer any sort or leather or wire repair work on helmets.
Q: Can I send my helmet for a brass band conversion?
A: No, this is not a service we offer.
Q: Can you install deep suspension and a liner into my Phenix fire helmet?
A: No, the Phenix it not made the same way as a cairns and does not allow for our deep suspenion or liners to be installed without a brass band conversion which we do not offer. The helmet does have a fully adjustable suspension system in it from the factory and we recommend you watch the videos on the Phenix YouTube page for information on how to fit your helmet.
Q: Can you take the impact shell out of my Phenix fire helmet?
A: No, the impact shell must remain in a Phenix helmet or else the leather will not be able to keep its shape due to the way the leather is manufactured.
